Kansas State Representative Suzanne Wikle, House District 10.
Working for Lawrence
I‘m honored to represent Kansas House District 10 in Topeka and fight for the values that matter to Lawrence families. As a mom, social worker, and longtime advocate for children and working families, I’m committed to advancing policies that support economic, health, and racial justice.
I ran for office to lift people up, not tear them down, and I’m running for re-election to keep delivering results for our community.
In my first term, I’ve worked to make meaningful progress for our community. I introduced a bill that was signed into law to expand access to naloxone, helping organizations to keep this lifesaving overdose reversal medication available. I’ve also consistently fought to expand affordable healthcare in Kansas by introducing Medicaid expansion amendments.
I’m proud to be one of only four State Representatives to receive a 100% working families voting score from the Kansas AFL-CIO, reflecting my commitment to stand with workers and families.
As a fifth-generation Kansan, I believe strong public schools, affordable healthcare, a fairer tax system, and public investment in child care and early education are essential to making Kansas the best place to live and raise a family.
I’m a consistently strong voice for these Lawrence values in Topeka.
